Although the airport, with its 7500 FT runway is home to both the Air National Guard and Army National Guard, our main ramp area accommodates all types of aircraft from warbirds and single engine aircraft to the most advanced personal and business jets. The airport's close proximity to Newport (15 minutes), downtown Providence (15 minutes), Foxwood and Mohegan Sun Casinos (30 minutes), and Boston (50 minutes), make it an attractive and convenient hub for both passengers and crew.
